Lessons are open to students of all ages including adults

One-on-one lessons

Small group lessons for 3-5 students for first and second year players

Two 16-week semesters: Fall & Winter-Spring

Small group lessons 

After-school during the school year for 4th- and 5th-grade musicians

Structured to complement the in-school ensemble programs. Click here to learn more and to register.

(Private or small group lessons are highly recommended but not required for students in elementary school band and orchestra programs.)

 

Summer Lessons

Families can sign up for any or all of the 9 weeks of the summer session.

Tuition is

  • $40.00 per 30-minute lesson ($640 per 16-lesson semester)
  • $58.00 per 45-minute lesson ($928 per 16-lesson semester)
  • $76.00 per 60-minute lesson ($1216 per 16-lesson semester)

There is a registration fee of $20 per semester for the Fall and Winter-Spring sessions. Registration fee is waived for the summer session.

Tuition for the full semester is due prior to the first lesson.

Payment plans are available on request and we also offer financial assistance to those in need.

  • The IMSCC office: Concord-Carlisle High School, Room  139
  • The CCACE office: Concord-Carlisle High School, Rooms 123 & 124

2025-26 session dates for IMSCC lessons:

Summer 2025 session: June 23 – August 22; families can sign up for lessons during any or all of the summer session weeks.

Fall 2025 session: 16 lessons starting September 2

Winter-Spring 2026 session: 16 lessons begin in January (exact start date to be arranged with the instructor)

Lessons during the school year follow the Concord and Carlisle public school calendars. Unless arrangements are made with the instructor, lessons will not take place on school holidays or vacation weeks.
