IMSCC Performance Opportunities

Studio Recitals

Students enrolled in IMSCC may have the opportunity to perform in recitals organized by their studio instructor. Participation in a studio recital counts as one lesson. When applicable, studio instructors may collect a participation fee for accompanist compensation. Recitals are not required of instructors and participation is optional for students. 

IMSCC Student Showcase

From time to time IMSCC hosts Student Showcases featuring performers from multiple studios. These performances are free and open to the public. Participation is arranged through the student’s studio instructor, who will determine the student’s readiness to perform. An accompanist is provided, and rehearsals with the accompanist are scheduled in advance of the showcase. Music for the accompanist must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the performance date. A participation fee is collected by IMSCC.
