How can we help today’s teens thrive in a world where screens, social media, and constant connectivity are shaping every aspect of life?

Growing Up Well is a community event series that tackles one of the most pressing challenges of our time: how to raise healthy, resilient kids in the digital age.

From rising rates of anxiety and social isolation to endless battles over screen time, families everywhere are feeling the effects of technology overload. Parents often feel stuck between worry and uncertainty, unsure how to guide their kids through challenges they never faced themselves.

This series brings together leading experts, community leaders, educators, and families to share insights and practical solutions. Each event offers evidence-based strategies and real-world tools that help teens build balance, strengthen relationships, and foster emotional well-being—without losing the benefits technology can provide.

Values-based Parenting Workshop with Dr. Rachel Kramer

March 4 from 9:30-10:30 am
Concord Free Public Library – Main Branch, 129 Main Street

In a world where digital culture is constantly broadcasting its own messages about what matters—beauty, popularity, speed, perfection—parents have an urgent opportunity to instill values that truly guide and sustain our children. Values-based parenting is about being intentional: getting clear on what matters most to you, living those values out loud, and teaching them to your children. When kids are grounded in authentic, human-centered values, they are more likely to make healthy choices online and off.

Join Concord’s Dr. Rachel Kramer for an interactive parent workshop about values-based parenting. Dr. Kramer is a licensed clinical psychologist.

This event is free, but registration is required.
